Hopkins was the self proclaimed Messenger Of God, he truly believed that he was untouchable and could act without repercussions. His methods were unjust, and wicked. His interrogation methods were designed to break the will of the Witch, whether that was through the method of sleep deprivation, pricking the flesh to see if they bleed or simply just torture. Either way he would often get the confession he seeked. Condemning the innocent to an untimely death. He had power and he knew how to exploit this. The track expresses the full extent of his delusion.
